I think, between Sunday night and last night, I got about twelve minutes of sleep. I saw light this morning before I konked out, jeez. not happy.

today I went to Kingston and saw a movie - it was a toss-up of what I was going to see, but I ended up at "Valentine's Day." ( a tale of two Taylors. )

I was thrilled to find out yesterday that "Boondock Saints II" was playing, of all places, at this tiny tiny little upstairs theatre in Kingston! so, of course, I had to drive all the way out there (40 minutes) to go see it again in a theatre roughly the size of my living room. it was totally worth it. it was a great audience (read: I was not ( Read more... )

seriously, the beginning of "Return of the Jedi" is one of my favourite movie starts ever. well, the first hour. well, I kind of love the entire movie. SAVE YOUR SISTER, LUKE.

anyway, today was very quiet, thank goodness. I slept in, made a pot of minestrone, threw in some laundry, and then went to the movies. ( you know you want to hear what I thought of The Blind Side )

since I seem to be recently obsessed with writing domestic fic, I was wondering if there was a comm for such a thing? I mean, there's quite a few fandoms with a kid (or kids) who has two daddies or two mommies (like "Priscilla," "Shelter," "Dawson's Creek," "Heroes," "Queer as Folk," etc.), so there's got to be a comm somewhere, right?

crap, I wanted to work on some fic and I can't find the original doc. must be on one of my externals. don't want to wake everyone up, though. I could have sworn I'd transferred all of those files over to the laptop. boo.

will have to work on some stuff I actually have access too, I guess.

wrote another couple hundred words on my "Four Kings" story and nearly forgot to post! I hope any of the words that I added make sense once I've slept.

now, I really need to pee. I hope I can do so without waking everyone up. *goes into stealth mode*

is there are any damn bigbang comm that does not require having a beta reader for someone to sign up? now, I don't want to brag, or anything*, but I am a fucking good writer, and I have never in my life used betas. and, I hate to say it, but having a beta is not a guarantee of quality work! today was the longest day in the history of ever, and it still isn't over yet.
